Transfer the ownership of a workspace

To transfer the ownership of a shared inbox or a shared label to another account, here are the requirements:

Shared inbox

  • The new owner should be part of your Gmelius subscription (for the Pro plan, the new owner should be also part of the Team associated with the workspace).
  • The new owner should be part of the shared inbox.
  • The new owner must receive emails from the shared address. If the routing is not properly configured, please follow these instructions according to the nature of the shared inbox (Primary, Alias, or Google Groups).

Shared label

  • The new owner should be part of your Gmelius subscription (for the Pro plan, the new owner should be part of the Team associated with the workspace).
  • The new owner should be part of the shared label.

Start the transfer:

To start the transfer request, click on the 3 dots next to the workspace and select "Transfer ownership":
