Gmelius is not loading

Before following all the steps outlined below, first ensure to reload Gmail and your Gmelius dashboard using this key combination:

This will ensure you run the latest version of our software. If the issue persists, please follow the below instructions to get Gmelius back.

A) Is the Gmelius extension installed and active?

Copy/paste "chrome://extensions" into the navigation bar of your browser.

If you can find Gmelius, ensure the extension is enabled or active, as shown below.

In case you cannot find Gmelius, it means the extension is not installed in your browser. Please install the Gmelius extension for your browser and reload Gmail.

B) Are you signed in?

Head to to ensure you're properly signed into Gmelius.

C) Is there any locally corrupted data?

  1. Clear your browser's cache. See tutorial
  2. Reload both your Gmail inbox and your Gmelius dashboard (

D) Is Gmelius enabled in Gmail?

If Gmelius is disabled, the Gmelius icon will be greyed out instead of red. Just click on the latter greyed icon within the right sidebar of Gmail. Then, click on "Activate Gmelius".

E) Is there any conflict with another extension?

There may exist a conflict with another extension installed in your browser.

Ensure to check out this up-to-date list of known conflicts.

F) Do you need to whitelist Gmelius services or update your Firewall?

If you notice that Gmelius is loading on your home computer, but not on your work computer, this is probably due to your company's firewall configuration.

You can whitelist  * * and * on port 443.

If this is not feasible, our associated ASN is 15169:

Feel free to ask your network's administrator to whitelist the latter domains.

G) Is your computer's clock correctly adjusted?

Make sure the time and date of your PC are correct or set it to automatic. Steps for Mac here and for Windows here.

H) Is the Gmail sidebar visible?

Ensure the Gmail sidebar is visible in your inbox. In case the sidebar is hidden, please head to the bottom-right side of Gmail, click on the small arrow "Show side panel" and then click on the Gmelius icon on the left side of the panel - as shown below.

I) Are Gmelius buttons regrouped in the compose window?

When the size of your screen is too small and/or a large number of Gmelius features are enabled, you can find the Gmelius icons by clicking on the grid menu button, as shown below.

J) Fix 99.99% of other issues...

If the problem persists, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to Look for "Third-party apps with account access".
  2.  Remove Gmelius.
  3. Finally, clear your local data and reload your inbox. Note that it will only clear cookies and locally stored data in your browser, you won't lose any Gmail or Gmelius data.
