Emails sent to both my teammate and myself to become collaborative

When you’re working on a project with a teammate, it’s easier if emails related to that project are automatically shared in one place. With Gmelius shared folders, you can turn incoming emails into collaborative conversations without forwarding or copy-pasting.

Share emails with a shared label

Let’s say you’re working on a project with Mark. You receive an email at your primary address and want him to read it. By applying the project’s shared label, the email instantly becomes visible to both of you. You can now collaborate directly inside Gmail.

Each shared label represents a project and its team. This way, you can keep your inbox organized and ensure the right people always have access to the right conversations.

How to route emails to a shared label

  1. Create a shared Gmail label
In your Gmelius dashboard, create a new shared label for the project.
    Example: “Project Alpha”.
  2. Invite your teammate
Make sure Mark is part of your Gmelius workspace.
Add him to the shared label so he can access conversations linked to it.
  3. Route conversations to the label
Open Gmail and choose the email you want to share.
Apply the shared label in one of two ways:
  • Use Gmail’s native label button
  • Or click “Add to workspace” in the Gmelius toolbar

The conversation now lives under Project Alpha and both you and Mark can reply, add notes, or assign tasks.

How did we do?

I want most of my emails to stay private, but I want to share some of them automatically
