How to create a campaign?

Gmelius campaigns let you quickly send personalized emails to entire contact lists, at the date and time of your choosing.

The creation of a campaign follows a straightforward 3-step process.

1. Upload your contacts and name the campaign

Enter a name for your campaign, e.g., "My first campaign", and upload a contact spreadsheet in the CSV format.

After you have imported your contact list (.csv file), Gmelius extracts all the columns of your contact spreadsheet as potential variables you can then use to personalize your email copy. You then get a quality check on each column according to the percentage of rows left blank, so you know which information are best to include in your email and which to select fallback options for.

2. Compose your email and select the variables you need

Once you click on the button "Continue", you get to the second screen where you can compose your email, pick a date and time, select the alias (if any) and customize the name of the sender.

You can insert variables into the subject and body of your email.

Gmelius campaigns let you also track open and clicks (if the email contains links), add an unsubscribe link and insert your associated Gmail signatures.

3. Preview your campaign and save/send it

The last screen gives you the opportunity to preview your campaign before sending it. Finally, you can either choose to save the campaign for later or send it.

Preview emails do not include unsubscribe links. Please ensure to pick a contact before sending the preview email to check whether your variables are recognized.
