If you keep seeing the activation screen or the authentication screen at every load of your inbox, ensure that your browser is not configured to clear your browsing data whenever it closes since Gmelius needs to store locally some data to work properly. Also check whether you have the extension Privacy Guardian enabled in your browser or Ccleaner installed in your computer. If the case, please whitelist Gmelius or disable them.
If the behavior you're experiencing is independent of your browser's configuration or extension, please follow the steps outlined below.
Step 1: Unlink Gmelius from your Google Account
- Go to https://myaccount.google.com/permissions and look for Third-party apps with account access
- Find Gmelius and click on "Remove Access"
- Go to your Inbox and Clear your local data
Step 2: Restart your browser and sign in Gmail
You'll be asked to authenticate one more time (hopefully the last one).
